I have been making one of my little specialities - Chocolate Christmas Trees. One for each of my students plus a few possibly for my own children. I think they are so cute! (The trees are rather sweet too.)

ReplyDeleteI am about to embark upon another gingerbread frenzy; I had quite a serious one last year at about this time and I can feel it coming on again. I'll let you know how it turns out. At the moment I am feverishly painting patterns on tissue paper to wrap presents in as I can't seem to find any wrapping paper here; very strange. Still, it's all creativity so can't complain.

ReplyDeleteThank you! I didn't have time to arrange them into an elegant display though I really wish I had. Today was the last class for my Tuesday students as next Tuesday is a local holiday here in Alcala, so I won't see them again before the new year. They were very pleased and interested in their little chocolate treats - most of them wanted to take them home to show their parents/siblings so I gave them little bags to put them in and showed them how to tie ribbon on so they can be put on the tree.
ReplyDeleteI must have made thousands of these over the years so am quite quick at turning them out and it's very satisfying. Packaging them up is the time-consuming part!
