Grab the camera

I was just about to set off with Darwin for our morning walk - a snatched twenty minutes in between preparing for and giving an English lesson - and I was struck by the BLUE of the sky so grabbed my camera.

The leaves have either turned to yellow, brown and red or have  fallen now, as we reach December.

Strange pods hang from many of the trees
Golden yellow leaves against the blue, blue sky

Moon over the olive groves

And frost, hiding in the shadows of the trees - it's been a chilly night!

La Lovely Mota - basking in the sun - December 2012

Isn't that gorgeous?
Must remember to take my camera with me more often - there is so much that is beautiful to share.

  2. Just gorgeous Annie. We had a bit of blue last week here, but its back to dark grey again. La Mota looks so wonderful against the blue sky... and I love those pods, hanging from the bare branches. Best of all, Darwin, amongst the Olive trees. Take your camera every day ! love Janice xx

    1. Isn't it beautiful, Janice. Really, we've had a few miserable days but today was just so very blue I had to take my camera. I'll try and remember to take it more often too. La Mota is always wonderful - I should try and catch it when fog is swirling round too. And the pods! Must try and find out what tree this is - there are lots of them here and I should have looked more carefully when they had leaves.
Darwin was SO funny today - running all over like a rabbit and having great fun.
Hope you're well and feeling good and strong. You look great on your recent photos. Thinking of you. Axxx

    1. I have to confess it's a bit better than your leaky, noisy, smell lab, isn't it? Glad to have cheered you up by them - if you can't be here, then live vicariously through our blogging community. I love your photos of Angles sur l'Anglin too!!

    1. Thank you - and so sorry you're incapacitated at the moment. It was an incredible blue day yesterday but today is overcast, so I'm so glad I picked me camera up. Take care and rest up. Axxx

  5. Beautiful photos Annie and that sky is just wonderful. We have had similar blue skies here until the last couple of days. Even if it's cold a blue sky can always cheer you up.

    1. Thanks Ayak - our blue sky disappeared yesterday and now it's all misty and damp. We find it very cold here in the winter. Last year was tolerable because it was so blue and clear outside but this year is drab and miserable most of the time. I shall hang on to those blues and enjoy them when they return! Hope you have a wonderful time in the UK. Axxx
